Job Description
Key Responsibilities for a Mission Critical Construction Project Manager - Chicago, IL include
- Project Planning and Scheduling : Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Create schedules, set milestones, and establish deadlines to ensure the project progresses in an organized and timely manner.
- Budget Management : Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints. Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality and safety standards.
- Team Leadership : Assemble and lead a team of construction professionals, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering collaboration. Effectively communicate project objectives, expectations, and updates to team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Resource Allocation : Allocate resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of necessary materials and services.
- 8 years with relevant construction experience specifically mission critical project experience
- Proven track record of managing mission critical or other construction project's
- Technical degree level education in construction or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Stable work record
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Competitive compensation of $110-$130K dependent on relevant experience
