Description
You will be responsible for:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of custom home construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Client Liason: Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the construction team, ensuring clear communication, understanding of client needs, and exceeding client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects remain within financial parameters. Review and approve project invoices, change orders, and material purchases.
- Scheduling and timeline management: Create and maintain project schedules, coodinating all construction activities and subcontractors to ensure projects progress smoothly
- Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and vendors, maintaining a collaborative and professional work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques to ensure the company remains competitive and continues to offer innovative solutions to clients
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 5 years experience in high-end custom home or luxury construction projects with a proven track record in managing residential builds
- Exceptional eye for quality and craftmanship with a deep understanding of high-end building materials, design specifications, and construction techniques
- Strong ability to lead and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers
- Excellent ability to address challenges and find effective solutions quickly, maintaining project momentum
- Deep understanding of construction quality control and safety regulations, ensuring the highest standards are met on every project.
- Familiar with Microsoft, scheduling, excel, autoCAD, takeoff
- Estimating skills are a huge plus
