Description
- Maintain a robust quality management system (QMS) that meets industry standards and customer specifications
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team, ensuring inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Monitor all stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues or non-conformances
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and project management teams to ensure product quality throughout manufacturing
- Establish and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, audits, and test results
- Develop and conduct internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, AS9100)
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures and best practices
- Work closely with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Track and report key quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for continuous improvement
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance in all aspects of the quality process
Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
- 5 years of experience in quality management or assurance within a manufacturing or job shop environment
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and industry certifications such as AS9100, IATF 16949, etc.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team of quality professionals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Proficiency in quality tools such as Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and CAPA
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience with inspection equipment and techniques, including CMM, calipers, and micrometers
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CNC machining, aerospace, automotive, or medical device manufacturing
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software
Job Offer
