Job Description
- Perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document and report inspection results, including non-conformances and deviations, to appropriate teams for resolution.
- Operate and maintain testing equipment and tools to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality-related issues.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Participate in audits and reviews to uphold certifications and quality system requirements.
- Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and CMM programming.
- Strong understanding of inspection techniques, quality standards, and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, or similar equipment).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry for recording inspection results.
