Job Description
- Project Management : Overseeing rail construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring time lines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Site Supervision : Managing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed and that work is executed according to specifications.
- Quality Control : Conducting inspections and assessments to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with regulations.
- Coordination : Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project execution and address any issues that arise.
- Budget Management : Monitoring project expenditures, managing resources efficiently, and providing cost estimates for new projects.
- Safety Compliance : Implementing and enforcing safety measures to protect workers and minimize risks on the job site.
- Communication : Keeping stakeholders informed about project progress, challenges, and changes, ensuring transparency and alignment with goals.
- Training and Development : Providing training for staff on equipment operation, safety practices, and industry standards to enhance team capabilities
- Relevant Experience : 4-10 year experience as a construction project manager preferably in the rail industry
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in construction methods, safety regulations, and equipment operation relevant to rail projects.
- Leadership Abilities : Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise crews and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Aptitude : The ability to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
- Attention to Detail : A meticulous approach to ensuring quality control and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration among team members, clients, and authorities.
