I am currently partnered with a Global, Publicly Traded, Multi-Billion Dollar Manufacturer who is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst/Specialist to join their Finance Team at their North America HQ location near the Griffith, IN area. This role will play a critical part in driving the financial success of various business units by analyzing KPIs, providing insights on trends, and supporting leadership with strategic decision-making. This person will be responsible for consolidating data, conducting financial analyses, and ensuring the alignment of business unit performance with corporate goals.

Description

• Collect, consolidate, and interpret financial data from multiple business units to support performance evaluation and reporting.
• Analyze actuals, forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans, highlighting any key trends or variances that impact the overall business.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing business performance, such as competitor benchmarking, cost analysis, and working capital management.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
• Monitor the progress of key business initiatives, providing assessments of risks, opportunities, and sensitivities.
• Benchmark internal business units against external competitors to identify areas for improvement and competitive advantages.
• Partner with leadership to provide data-driven recommendations and insights to improve financial performance.
• Lead or participate in special projects, including business process improvement, M&A analysis, and financial benchmarking studies.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Tax, Treasury, HR, and Corporate Strategy to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
• Work closely with corporate finance to ensure alignment of business unit performance with company-wide financial objectives.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting; CA, CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• 4-5 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or management reporting roles within the Manufacturing Industry.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting processes, and KPI analysis.
• Working in SAP ERP System is a requirement for this role
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and the use of reporting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets and provide meaningful insights from complex data.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
