Description
The Senior Manufacturing will have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborating with design engineers to ensure DfM/DfR principles are applied to new product designs.
- Developing and documenting manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment.
- Designing and implementing error proofing strategies and fixtures to minimize process variation.
- Diagnosing and resolving electromechanical system issues encountered during production.
- Identifying and driving cycle time reduction, cost savings, and efficiency improvements by eliminating non-value-added activities.
- Conducting design reviews, approve part drawings, and supporting Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Acting as a customer advocate by applying root cause analysis to address quality issues.
- Establishing and overseeing critical part qualifications, first article inspections, and AQL-driven sampling plans to ensure supplier accountability.
- Designing and testing product packaging in compliance with ISTA standards.
Profile
A successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7 years of hands-on experience in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (drawing & modeling).
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and their integration.
- Expertise in manufacturing, quality tools, and techniques, including FMEA, DfM, SPC, and variation reduction.
- Experience using mechanical inspection tools (calipers, force gauges, etc.).
- Strong computer skills (CAD, Microsoft Office, ERP).

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
