Description
- Lead the preconstruction process from conceptual budgets to final estimates, managing 2-3 deliverables per week.
- Strategize pursuit efforts, working closely with brokers and construction managers to target high-quality interior projects.
- Develop conceptual and preliminary budgets for Class A office spaces.
- Manage hard bids and negotiated work, ensuring competitive and accurate estimates.
- Work directly with the Partner and Project Executive to drive strategic project selection.
- Use CMIC, Bluebeam, and BuilderConnected for budgeting and estimating.
- Interact with potential clients, acting as the first point of contact for incoming pursuits.
- Prioritize and adapt to fast-paced project schedules, handling 1-2 deliverables independently per week.
- Lay the foundation for building out and growing the preconstruction department in the future.
Profile
- 5 years estimating experience (Preconstruction Manager level) or 7 years estimating experience (Senior Preconstruction Manager level)-focused on high-end interiors.
- Strong experience in Class A office interiors with the ability to develop conceptual budgets.
- Strategic mindset-someone who understands not just the numbers but the 'why' behind project pursuits.
- Highly adaptable-able to pivot in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
- Client-facing experience-comfortable interacting with brokers, architects, and construction managers.
- Software proficiency in CMIC, Bluebeam, and BuilderConnected (or ability to learn quickly).
- Self-motivated leader with a vision to grow the department over time.

Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
