Description
- Promote growth and development of client relationships
- Attend client meetings throughout the preconstruction process
- Monitor and review potential opportunities
- Prepare preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates as well as detailed estimates
- Review documents
- Prepare bid packages, obtain bids from subcontractors and vendors
- Take part in preconstrucion meetings and presentations with owners
- Research market trends and compile historical data for future use
- Prepare discipline estimates by calculating takeoffs
- Participate and lead preconstruction team
- Assist in preparation of preliminary construction
- Visit on-going projects to verify status of estimates
Profile
- 7-15 years' experience
- Sr. Estimators, Tenured Preconstruction Managers
- Degree preferred but not required
- Report to operations managers, be a leader on the Preconstruction team
- Healthcare or tilt-wall preferred, will also look at good commercial backgrounds
- This hire is not tied to a specific project
- Examples of upcoming projects: Ground-up hospitals, ground-up tilt wall buildings, hospital expansions, general commercial
