Description
Senior Pricing/FP&A Analyst Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine pricing approaches to enhance revenue, profitability, and margin growth.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer purchasing behaviour.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, R&D, and operations, to ensure pricing strategies align with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Serve as the pricing authority, focusing on cost structures, margin targets, and customer engagement strategies.
- Monitor and respond to shifts in the market, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, adjusting pricing strategies as necessary.
- Evaluate pricing sensitivity and perform scenario planning to determine the effects of different pricing models.
- Oversee and approve pricing frameworks for new products, services, or promotions.
- Support annual strategic planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting processes to align with organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue and costs under varying market and pricing conditions.
- Regularly update financial projections and evaluate the impact of strategic decisions and external influences.
- Track critical financial metrics, such as revenue, margins, and expenses, and advise leadership on improvement opportunities.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and suggest strategies for growth and risk mitigation.
- Analyze variances, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends to deliver actionable insights.
- Prepare financial reports that identify potential business opportunities and risks.
Profile
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience within the manufacturing industry
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience
- FP&A experience
- Pricing experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
