Description
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration among all stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, manage budgets, and prepare financial reports to ensure projects remain within financial targets.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements through regular inspections and assessments.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Schedule Management: Maintain and update project schedules, adjusting timelines as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Profile
- Experience within Retail construction sector
- 7 years of experience in Construction, experience managing multiple projects at a time
- Experience with Commercial/Residential projects preferred
- Ability to run projects from inception through close-out
- Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
