They are currently seeking a Senior Superintendent to oversee the construction of a 7-story podium building, including multiple floors of concrete and wood frame construction. This role is a great opportunity to lead and manage a high-profile, complex project from start to finish.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily on-site construction activities for the 7-story podium building.
- Manage the full scope of work including concrete and wood frame construction, ensuring quality control, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with building codes.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, and architects to maintain clear communication and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage the project schedule, ensuring that milestones are met, and adjust as necessary to prevent delays.
- Lead and mentor site personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Review and approve construction drawings, submittals, and RFIs to ensure they are implemented correctly.
- Ensure safety policies and protocols are enforced and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Monitor budget adherence and work closely with the project manager to address any issues.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with all building codes and quality standards.
Profile
Qualifications:
- Multiple years of experience in multifamily construction, with a strong background in podium-style buildings.
- Extensive experience in both concrete and wood frame construction.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large, complex construction projects.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well with a diverse team and multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is preferred.
Job Offer
$160,000-$180,000 DOE
