Description
- Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, attend design meetings, etc to determine scope of work and required content of estimates
- Assemble and communicate estimates on complex projects, including conceptual.
- Constantly search for value engineering opportunities at every stage of a project
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and goals with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the desired result and financial success of all projects
- Analyze historical cost information and leverage various sources of data to create cost models utilized for future project opportunities
- Build and maintain a network of trade and A/E partners to support cost bench-marking and bid day coverage
