Description
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and enhance supplier performance.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
- Cost Analysis and Management: Conduct cost analyses to identify savings opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives to improve profit margins.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends and supply chain dynamics; utilize this information to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure procurement strategies align with company goals and production needs.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that necessary materials are available while minimizing excess stock and associated carrying costs.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities to drive continuous improvement.

Profile
A successful Strategic Sourcing Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
