Job Description

• Lead decisions in the Quality department regarding the selection, development, and approval of new suppliers.
• Conduct supplier visits and lead on-site audits.
• Implement and enhance the supplier rating process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and engineering teams.
• Supervise a team of inspectors and purchasing personnel.
• Work closely with other functional areas to support the introduction or revision of new designs into manufacturing.
• Lead and participate in internal quality and process audits; support external ISO, customer, and other audits as needed.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in engineering or affiliated field
• 5 years Supplier Quality Experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and audit process
• Experience with metal manufacturing and electronic components
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
