Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Prepare and manage sales budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Track and report on revenue and gross margin metrics for valve products, while identifying areas for client base expansion.
  • Foster strong relationships with regional sales representatives to maximize sales performance.
  • Lead channel sales forecasting and set performance goals for teams.
  • Provide training and performance evaluations to ensure successful implementation of sales plans.
  • Analyze channel sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage sales territories, quotas, and goals, and drive market channel development.
  • Develop and recommend strategies for product positioning, packaging, and pricing to ensure optimal gross margins.
  • Maintain a satisfactory profit/loss ratio and track market share in relation to industry standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, customers, and key strategic partners.
  • Manage a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) plan, meeting with key clients, and supporting the sales team in negotiating and closing deals.
  • Provide market intelligence to assist with product research and development.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Director.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of valve industry experience, with a strong background in outside sales.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies in the valve industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to develop relationships and drive sales across diverse client bases.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies to meet objectives.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
