Client Details
My client is a privately owned organization that manufactures engineered metal products, primarily for the automotive industry. They are actively investing in their tool room, currently valued around $1 million, and continuing to expand the realm of their manufacturing capabilities. They are looking to add a Tool Room Manager to their team, this person would oversee all tool room / stamping operations, manage a team of tool & die makers/tooling engineers, and utilize their extensive tooling experience to increase production efficiency & troubleshoot production errors.
Description
- Manage all tool room operations
- Oversee a team of tool & die makers / tooling engineers
- Troubleshoot production errors / deviations
- Create, review & approve tooling/fixture designs
- Utilize tooling experience to drive process improvements & increase production efficiency
- Serve as vendor point of contact, to procure external tooling & materials
Profile
- Extensive tool & die experience
- Experience working with progressive stamping dies
- Ideally 5 years of managerial experience
- Prior tool & die making experience (troubleshooting)
- Experience working in the automotive industry preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Job Offer
- Base salary of $85,000 - $110,000 based on experience
