What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Stocker team member position at Michael's Inc?
- Deliver exceptional customer service by helping customers shop our store, finding what they're looking for, and providing solutions to their needs.
- Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, maintaining high standards of recovery and display.
- Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and assist with enrollments.
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
- Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, and maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
- Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
- Execute Company policies and standards, projecting a positive image and serving as a role model for other Team Members.
- Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to move throughout the store, lift heavy boxes, and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.
Our stores offer a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with opportunities to work in a variety of settings, including public retail spaces and stock rooms. Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled, and some outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. Our Frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses.
