Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in financial software.
Duties
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure all accounts are accurate and up to date.
- Utilize accounting software, to manage financial transactions and reporting.
- Prepare financial statements and reports as needed, demonstrating a solid grasp of financial concepts.
- Assist in the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record management.
Skills
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with a focus on debits and credits.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks financial software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with various accounting software applications for effective record keeping.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts to support accurate reporting and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Mechanical Knowlege preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
