Michaels Wilder, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Junior Accountant to manage general accounting and financial processes for assigned divisions. This role is primarily on-site at our corporate headquarters in Deer Valley. After 90 days, employees may have the opportunity to work from home occasionally, based on business needs.

What You'll Do:

Finances are the fuel that keeps our company moving. As a key member of the Finance team, you'll ensure our figures and budgets stay on track with unwavering accuracy. Youll have a natural passion for numbers and a solid understanding of financial transactions within an organization.

In this role, you'll prepare and review financial information and organize it to provide a clear picture of your assigned division's fiscal health. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, youll play an important support role by clarifying the financial outlook of our company and its divisions with precision and proactive measures.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining financial records for one or two assigned divisions.
  • Reconciling bank statements and balancing the ledger.
  • Preparing ad hoc financial reports.
  • Overseeing cash management.
  • Tracking costs and managing accounts payable/receivable.
  • Generating client invoices.
  • Providing back-up support for the Senior Accountant and/or Payroll Administrator as needed.

While we value accounting degrees, its not a requirement. What matters most is:

  • Tech Wizardry: QuickBooks Enterprise experience is a must. Youre also an Excel guru (pivot tables are your jam) and know your way around Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
