Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pest Control Service Manager to lead our pest control team and manage daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical knowledge in pest control, and excellent customer service skills. The Pest Control Service Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality pest control services, manage the service team, and ensure compliance with all regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of pest control technicians, ensuring productivity, quality of service, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Service Delivery: Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of pest control services to customers, including regular inspections, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing high-quality customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to team members on best practices, safety procedures, and new pest control technologies and methods.
- Scheduling & Planning: Oversee scheduling of pest control appointments, ensuring efficient routing of technicians and timely responses to customer needs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all pest control operations are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain accurate records for all treatments and services performed.
- Inventory Management: Manage and monitor inventory levels of pest control supplies and equipment, ensuring that the team has the resources needed to perform their duties.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate reports on services rendered, customer feedback, and technician performance. Submit regular reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in pest control or a related field, with at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role (strongly preferred) Will teach the right person the role with no experience.
- Knowledge of pest control techniques, methods, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve client issues professionally.
- Valid pest control license (if required by state regulations).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scheduling and dispatch software.
- Strong understanding of pest control product formulations and eco-friendly solutions.
- Experience in inventory management and financial oversight.
