Position Title : Bakery Production Associate M-F 1pm-9pm
Type of Position : Hourly, 40 hours / week

Job Description :
As a Bakery Production Associate at Michele’s Granola, you are a key member of our small-batch production team. In this role you will have several distinct and central roles in our kitchen facility including preparing product, baking product, packaging product, and cleaning and dishwashing.
As part of our team, you will have clearly defined tasks to complete during the daily shift. The position involves standing for extended periods of time, repetitive motion, moving at a steady pace, lifting to 50lbs, and pushing up to 150lbs.

Arriving on time for the start of each production shiftAdhering to safe work practices, cleaning, uniform, and hygiene standardsFollowing all established recipes, food handling, baking, packaging and cleaning procedures, including workflow routinesEnsuring consistency in food quality and upholding our high-quality assurance and sanitation standardsEnsuring the maintenance of a clean, sanitary production facility to control allergens and contamination by performing opening, periodic and closing sanitation and cleaning duties, including but not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work surfaces, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and trash removalPromptly notifying management of any issues related to production, facility, or equipment.Other duties as assigned, e.g., assisting with Quality Control programs and facility maintenanceSpecific Duties of the Bakery Production Associate include :
Measuring and mixing raw materials according to recipe specificationsWeighing product onto sheet pans according to recipe specificationsSpreading product across sheet pans according to recipe specificationsLoading oven racks, adhering to all pan and rack Quality Assurance guidelinesBaking and Cooling product to specificationsFilling, weighing, labeling and sealing bags of granola to specificationsPacking, labeling, and stocking cases according to specificationsPre, Mid and End of shift Cleaning and dishwashingOther duties as assigned
