Overall Function
A Foam Fill Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of fill products, incoming and outgoing, the processing of customer requests, sourcing product to ensure overall efficient and effective fill center operations in keeping with aftermarket policies, procedures, and accepted practices.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures adherence to and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and accepted practices.
- Ensures company customer service standards, i.e., courteous, safe, and efficient service, are met at all times.
- Manages inbound and outbound freight such as STO’s (stock transfers), BOL’s (bills of lading) from facilities and customer orders (wheels to spoke, customer and hub).
- Coordinates route planning, assigns work order to fill service technician via ERP (enterprise resource planning), as needed.
- Manages return of foam fill assemblies from customer to hub.
- Creates production order of assembly part numbers and BOMs (build of materials).
- Maintains required documentation on all returns.
- Reviews min/max for all foam fill assembly products and related material.
- Prepares customer billing and credits.
- Encourages open communication and promotes participatory problem solving and teamwork among employees.
- Oversees fill cycle counts at each assigned service center, as needed.
- Creates purchase orders for our external vendors via ERP. Tracks orders to ensure delivery of the products to our branch, freight terminals or to the customer, and receives the PO in the system.
- Maintains daily foam fill log per technician per day, as needed.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the tire industry, preferably in the material handling, construction, rubber tracks, and/or industrial wheels market is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) software applications.
- Problem solving with proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently within the specified job scope.
- Strong grasp of time management and prioritization techniques.
- Ability to travel as needed.
