- Analyzing and developing energy models to predict energy consumption, The site optimizes the energy cost and the production plan has been optimized
- The Energy indicators are analyzed and reliable. The site energy performance is communicated
- Provides technical expertise, analysis and development of tools and methods to manage and reduce energy consumption, CO2 emissions and water footprint at industrial sites – Gap analysis, implementation, and inputs
- Identification and quantification of energy projects
- Reduction of quality failures due to energy
- Advise engineering team on purchasing/selecting and commissioning new machines and equipment in accordance with the set standards.
- Documented feedback to improve the knowledge of the energy network as well as the designers of new installations
- Support are provided to the different activities of the site to improve their energy consumption.
- Professionally and systematically define, design, develop, monitor, and optimize the energy management Program of plants.
- Follow energy best practices and processes
- Training of operators, maintenance staff for techniques and methods, and the users to "consume better"
- Support to Perform Energy Audits both System and Diagnostic audits (Member of the energy audit team)
- Sustain ISO 50001
- Provide energy budget forecast for the business to fulfill the accurate financial forecast
- Bachelor’s Degree in Energy, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or any other equivalent qualification.
- 3 years of related experience (preferably in a manufacturing organization).
- Exposure for energy related projects and knowledge on energy management system standards such as ISO 50001 will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in both English & Sinhala and good interpersonal relationship skills, initiative, Teamwork & Collaboration, Result Orientation and Leadership skills.
