- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, tools, equipment, and work activities to meet and exceed safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Lead improvement projects and facilitate Kaizen/Lean events to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze and challenge existing procedures, making recommendations for improvement and working with operational management to integrate solutions.
- Increase the autonomy of operational teams by enhancing their skills in organizational change, project management, and employee engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively leading teams or project groups, setting clear goals, delegating tasks, providing regular feedback/coaching, and promoting a collaborative work environment. Military service a plus.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, project, or related technical experience. This can include internship, Co-op, apprenticeship, military service, or similar programs.
- Strong influence and negotiation skills, both in verbal and written communication.
- Ability to set and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
- Success in working collaboratively with others to achieve common objectives.
- Good interpersonal skills, including appreciation, empathy, dispute resolution, and active listening.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project plans that meet or exceed expectations.
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical major preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
