About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Perform measurements and calibrations strictly according to established methods and schedules to meet our high standards and commitments.
- Assist in raw material and semi-finished product investigations to ensure flawless production processes.
- Meet raw material release demands for production, ensuring that all materials align with our rigorous quality standards.
- Deliver measurement and calibration results, along with calibrated equipment and associated documentation, to users within the required timeframes.
- Manage laboratory consumables, such as glassware, solvents, gloves, and reference materials, to maintain a well-stocked and efficient lab environment.
- Complete measurements and calibrations in accordance with operating procedures and processes, including those needed for safety, transport, recycling of samples, and traceability.
- Ensure that measurement and calibration results are reliable and validated as necessary, and communicate any nonconformities to the appropriate functions for resolution.
- Apply metrology quality requirements, including verifying measurement conditions such as temperature, hygrometry, and calibration validity, ensuring durability provisions (VQM) are met.
- Share knowledge and expertise through training plans, contributing to the development of fellow team members.
- Provide support in resolving production, safety, and environmental issues as they arise.
- Supervise quality control daily; communicate clearly with warehouse, production, and other employees for raw material reception and process control.
- Conduct chemical tests for raw material acceptance, auditing, process control, and finished product testing using standard analytical techniques (both wet and instrumental).
- Work on special projects, including setting up and qualifying new methods and instruments, and implementing methods from Michelin Central groups.
