THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our ambitious team at Michelin as a Shift Chemist and contribute to producing top-quality synthetic rubber. Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to maintain our high production standards.
Mission
In this role, you will :
- Provide the laboratory with the necessary standards and verification methods to ensure that all measurements and productions are performed flawlessly and according to Michelin Group standards.
- Assist workshops and laboratories in resolving any quality measurement challenges.
- Ensure that all measurements and calibrations are performed according to established operating procedures, including those related to durability (VQM).
- Manage the EICS park, ensuring that all calibrations are up-to-date and equipment is ready for use.
- Advise workshops and laboratories on equipment selection, and ensure all necessary documents and standards are accurately available and managed.
- Detect and communicate any measurement or calibration nonconformities, providing the necessary elements for their resolution.
- Share your expertise by participating in training plans.
