We are currently seeking a Billing (E-billing) & Client Relations Coordinator to join our Los Angeles office. This position reports to the Director of Billing & Client Relations and plays a vital role in managing our billing operations.
Responsibilities
- Process and submit client invoices using Aderant Expert, iTimekeep, and third-party eBilling systems
- Ensure billing compliance with client guidelines, including codes, rates, and required adjustments
- Resolve eBilling rejections, appeals, and inquiries with attorneys, finance, and clients
- Generate billing and accounts receivable reports for internal teams
- Monitor and track accounts receivable; follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist in client/matter intake and ensure compliance with firm policies
- Support collections processes and help reduce aged receivables
- Provide training to new hires on billing systems and timekeeping tools
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of legal billing experience (electronic billing required)
- Proficiency in Aderant EA Pro Billing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and report-writing tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
