Courier Driver

Michelson Laboratories of Northern California is a leading food testing laboratory based in Southern California. Our Manteca Laboratory provides a wide range of services and is staffed with industry leading analyst. We are expanding our Courier department and our looking for a Driver/Courier/Field Technician. The Driver/Courier/Field Technician position performs day to day route operations by serving our customer needs with protected and dependable delivery of food samples and performing various fieldwork's.
Responsibilities for Driver/Courier/Field Technician:

• Delivery of food samples in a safe and timely manner
• Account for safe completion of assigned routes / sampling
• Perform FDA detained product sampling
• Wash glassware, grind and prepare samples as needed
• Complete and comply to the Driver Safety Program
• Must follow and comply to vehicle maintenance program/schedule
• Maintain clean vehicles and maintain daily supplies well organized
• Comply and maintain the driving record acceptability standard
• Communicate and document with laboratory management team and customers
• Perform all work in uniform and safety attire. Report to work well groomed, clean, and dressed according to the requirements of your assigned field work.
• Must follow Good Laboratory Procedures (GLP’s)
• Follow all documentation requirements and ability to follow instruction and complete required training
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member

Minimum Requirements for Driver/Courier/Field Technician:

• 1-2 years of professional driving experience – must be knowledgeable of southern California roads and freeways
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Current valid driver’s license – Class C issued in California
• Clean driving records with no DUI’s, no major violations or accidents within the past 3 years – no exceptions
• Must be able to push or lift 60 lbs.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime when needed.

This is a full-time position. Starting at $17-18/hr. depending on experience
