We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction techniques and be proficient in using power tools. As a Fence Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of fences, ensuring that they meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Install various types of fencing materials, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and wrought iron.
- Weld and assemble fence components as needed for custom installations.
- Perform frame carpentry tasks to ensure structural integrity of the fence installations.
- Conduct landscape maintenance around installed fences to enhance aesthetics and functionality.
- Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
- Assist with hardscape and masonry work when required for fence foundations or supports.
- Build concrete footings and perform concrete finishing tasks to secure fence posts.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fence installation or related construction fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus.
- Experience in frame carpentry, hardscape, masonry, or landscape maintenance is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow project specifications accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others on a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
