Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer/Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during events, ensuring that all catering needs are met with professionalism and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Set up and break down catering events, including serving stations
- Load and unload catering equipment utlizing carts and hydraulic vehicle lift system
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Provide excellent guest services by attending to guests' needs promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, kitchen, and dining spaces throughout the event.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during events.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to service or food promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling.
Requirements
- Must be available to work most Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant service, or banquet settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and culinary techniques.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to work on your feet in a fast paced environment
