Daycare Assistant (Part Time 20 hours/Week)
Free Sixteen hours of Early Childhood training through Michigan AfterSchool Association
Yearly Membership to Michigan AfterSchool Association
After 1 year on the job: 2 weeks Vacation/yr.
2 paid Sick Days/yr.
2 paid Personal days/yr.
Duties
Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure a safe environment for every child.
-Assist in classroom as needed
-Complete extensive training on childcare and child development topics to invest in your future with free ongoing training.
-Housekeeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and organizing. -Assist with mealtime. -Cover breaks in classrooms.
-Experience working with or around children (preferred) -Must be dependable, passionate, energetic, and at least 18 yrs of age.
-Must possess HS diploma or equivalent
-CPR and first aid certification preferred
-Flexible Scheduling options, hours of operation 7am-6pm, 20 hours per week
-Able to work indoors and outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
