Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Teacher to join our team. As an Associate Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for children. This position requires a passion for early childhood education, childcare, and fostering the development of young minds.
Duties:
- Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, physical, and intellectual growth in children.
- Assist in supervising and engaging children in educational play and learning experiences.
- Support lead teachers in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff members.
- Assist in documentation and record-keeping related to children's progress and well-being.
- Participate actively in all classroom activities and field trips.
- Contribute to the overall success of the program by fulfilling various roles as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures is a plus.
- Passion for educating and caring for young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators.
Requirements:
- Must pass a background check.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to engage with children, including assuming postures at varying levels.
- Flexibility to work indoors or outdoors as required by activities.
-Must possess a valid CDA credential or an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or child development
