Purpose:
The job of this paraprofessional is to assist in the supervision, instruction, and behaviors
of one special needs student under the supervision of certificated teachers; observing and
documenting student progress; implementing plans for instruction and behaviors; and
providing clerical and behavioral support to teachers.

Purpose:

Job Qualifications:
- Adapts classroom activities, assignments and/or materials under the direction of the

- Confers with teachers on a regular basis for the purpose of assisting in evaluating

- Participates as a provider in the recording, reporting and gathering of data
- Performs record keeping (daily data on instruction and/or behavior) and clerical
supporting the teacher in providing necessary records/materials.
- Responds to emergency situations (e.g. injured student, fights, etc.) for the purpose of
