TITLE : ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT III – RECEPTIONIST
- High School Graduate required.
- Experienced preferred in clerical work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills along with attention to detail essential.
- Proficiency in (Substitute Teacher AESOP, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power School as required).
- Must have a proven track record of positive customer service.
- Must possess language skills including composition, punctuation, spelling and correct usage.
- Must have a desire to learn new applications / software.
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
REPORTS TO : Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources
SUPERVISES : NA
JOB GOAL : To perform assigned duties in such a manner to maintain the best possible educational programs and services.
ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Serve as Administration Building receptionist.
2. Greet and assist visitors with a professional and courteous demeanor.
3. Answer the main phone for the district and transfer the call to the appropriate person.
4. Send out bereavement notices.
5. Reserve rooms for District Level Meetings.
6. Assist with enrollment process and appointments.
7. Make copies of paperwork being turned in.
8. Operates office equipment.
9. Manage Administration Building email distribution lists.
10. Receive, sort and distribute mail.
11. Run month end postage report.
12. Keep track of all deliveries and make sure they get to the proper department.
13. Manage building supply inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
14. Assist all central office departments as needed.
15. Other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : 12-month position – 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
EVALUATION : Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources.
