Primary Function
The job of Administrator of Continuous Improvement, Preschool, and Latchkey was established for the purpose of providing leadership, planning, implementation, and ongoing support of the District’s Continuous Improvement Process and overseeing District Preschool and Latchkey programs.

Education and/or Experience
- Master’s Degree in job related area.
- Valid MI Teaching Certificate.
- Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Leadership experience is required.
- At least five (5) years classroom teaching experience and demonstrated leadership and ability in curriculum assessment and evaluation.
- Job related experience with increasing level of responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and deepens personal knowledge related to the implementation of the Continuous Improvement Process.
- Facilitates and monitors Continuous Improvement Plans for the purpose of program refinement and enhancement including program review, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of plans.
- Develops, coordinates, and conducts parent involvement for the purpose of meeting school improvement initiatives of the District.
- Facilitates and leads data meetings for the purpose of supporting staff in understanding the role of data throughout the Continuous Improvement Process.
- Facilitates and leads the District’s Social Emotional Learning curricula and programming.
- Supports the Continuous Improvement Process at the building level for the purpose of assisting with the development of the District Continuous Improvement goals, strategies, and activities.
- Contributes to the PLC process for the purpose of development and support of Continuous Improvement monitoring.
- Facilitates the District-level MICIP and Cognia review process for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the program requirements at all levels.
- Assists the District and buildings with State required reports, such as the Annual Education Report (AER), for the purpose of demonstrating Continuous Improvement efforts.
- Coordinates Early Childhood assessments for the purpose of enrollment, programming, evaluation, and compliance.
- Develops and monitors the preparation and administration of budgets for the purpose of implementing programs (e.g. Continuous Improvement, Latchkey, and Preschool).
- Develops administrative information on research, trends, and development in Latchkey and Preschool programming and assessment for the purpose of evaluating programs and improving procedures.
- Ensures appropriate staffing in assigned programs for the purpose of meeting all mandated and licensing requirements and providing a safe environment that enhances student development.
- Ensures District and State compliance for Latchkey and Preschool for the purpose of maintaining mandated standards and ensuring program success and longevity.
- Supervises and evaluates district personnel for the purpose of ensuring appropriate Preschool and Latchkey services.
- Supervises the preparation of a wide variety of written materials (e.g. reports, activities, correspondence) for the purpose of documenting activities and providing written reference and/or conveying information.
