Position Details
Newaygo Public Schools is looking for an
Elementary School Special Education Teacher
to join their highly collaborative special education team!
Position Summary
As the Special Education Teacher at Newaygo Elementary School, you will be working primarily with students in special education. In addition to serving the students, this position will assist teaching staff at the elementary school with the development of intervention and behavior plans for special education students as well as assist with determining best teaching strategies in order to best meet the needs of these students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Teaching Certification (Special Education Endorsement)
- Experience with Tier 2 and Tier 3 Interventions
- Ability to relate positively with students, parents and staff
- Motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude
- Passion for kids and learning
