Position Details
Responsibilities
- Managing Correspondence : Handling emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Document Preparation : Creating digital newsletters and other documents.
- Office Supplies : Manage inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Visitor Management : Greeting and directing visitors.
- Confidentiality : Handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Assistance : Supports Business Office/HR/Board Secretary when necessary.
- Website : Maintenance/Updates
- Fiscal Support : Preparing/tracking invoices, grant expenditure tracking, and accounts receivable.
- Processing : Background checks for volunteers and potential employees.
- Performs specialized and confidential assignments, as required, including tasks related to the efficient operations of the district, as assigned.
Qualifications
- An associate’s degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development OR the equivalent or a valid classroom CDA credential, the AA and the CDA are formal training options that uniformly and systematically prepare staff to be effective team teachers in preschool classrooms.
- Early childhood experience is preferred.
- Interest in children and education.
- Emotional maturity and stability necessary for the specialized work involved.
Various Duties
- Assist teacher in classroom instruction.
- Assist teacher in preparation of classroom instruction, materials, and structured activities.
- Supervise children in classroom and on playground at all times.
- Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
- Performs other duties/assignments as assigned by the principal or designee.
