Position Details
Ludington Area School District, located on the Lake Michigan shoreline in Ludington, Michigan, seeks a Head Girl’s Swimming Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. The head swim coach will:
- be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the swim program within Ludington Area School District;
- develop and implement training programs that will allow all student-athletes to develop sport-specific skills;
- create opportunities for feeder programs to learn and grow in the sport;
- communicate with student-athletes, parents, school administration, and the community;
- ensure compliance with all Ludington Area School District and MHSAA rules and regulations;
- serve as a mentor for Ludington Oriole student-athletes, allowing them to grow athletically, academically, and personally through participation in sport.
Teaching vacancies for the 2025-2026 school year are anticipated at all levels within Ludington Area School District. Specific teaching vacancies will be known in Spring 2025.
Ludington Area School District continues its tradition of excellence in athletics, academics, and the arts by providing “Class A opportunities” in a small-district setting. Ludington recently passed a $101 million bond to improve academic and athletic facilities.
