Position Details
The Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Technical Assistance (TA) Provider will observe the capacity building and improvement efforts focused on a free appropriate education(FAPE) in the least restrictive environment (LRE) and use data from the efforts to provide technical assistance to a cohort of subrecipients of the IDEA flow through grant to ensure all students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) receive a FAPE in the LRE. The TA provider will identify statewide technical assistance needs as they pertain to LRE, develop resources, and provide training informed by the outcomes of monitoring and data activities. The LRE Technical Assistance (TA) Provider assigned to the cohort at the onset of the monitoring cycle will support the cohort for the ensuing five years of the remaining six-year cycle. In addition, the TA provider will assist the cohort to develop and implement a five-year improvement plan focusing on areas identified in the final report.
