Position Details
The Assistant Principal of Oak Park Preparatory Academy (OPPA) reports to the building Principal and works
collaboratively with the middle school administration team, teaching staff, ancillary staff, and central office
leaders to provide students with an optimal learning environment that is rich in diversity, opportunities, and
tradition. The Assistant Principal provides support and nurtures grades 6-8, as it relates to academics,
attendance, discipline, and social emotional well-being. As an instructional leader, they are responsible for
supporting the district and building goals, mission, and vision. The Oak Park School District is looking for an
Assistant Principal who is a team player and intrinsically motivated; who has a deep desire to grow
