Essential Duties
- Create an engaging health and fitness environment for K-5 students.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a lifelong love of physical activity.
- Foster independent learning and student success.
- Use technology to enhance instruction and engagement.
- Plan and deliver effective, developmentally appropriate PE lessons.
- Promote healthy lifestyles and physical well-being.
- Maintain strong classroom management and respond appropriately to behavior.
- Stay organized and meet deadlines effectively.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive social interactions.
- Valid Michigan Elementary Ed teaching certificate, with MX, MA, MC or MB endorsement
- Experience working with children
