Position Details
Afterschool Instructor – SPARKS/IGNITE
LOCATIONS INCLUDE:
Harrison Schools; Farwell Schools; Coleman Schools; Gladwin Schools; Beaverton Schools; and Clare Middle School
REPORTS TO:
SPARKS Site Supervisor
WORK DAYS:
2.75 hours per day (positions available are 2-days/week and 4-days/week, Mon-Thurs)
STARTING DATE:
As soon as possible
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with students in corresponding grade levels. Valid teaching certificate in ELA, Math or Science preferred. Experience with at-risk students preferred. As a condition of employment employee must have a TB test and a criminal background check.
JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Afterschool Instructor will work with sessions of 15 students or less. The Site Supervisor will assist the Afterschool Instructor in creating appropriate program session activities and projects based on student interest and program goals.
