Position Details
The Board of Education for the Swan Valley School District is in search of a new Superintendent. The Swan Valley School District is located in Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region with close proximity to Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland. As an outer-ring suburb of Saginaw, the community of Shields offers a small-town feel with the extensive educational, commercial, and cultural amenities of the Tri-City experience. The Swan Valley School District is a member of the Saginaw Intermediate School District.
The Board is seeking a Superintendent who is a strong, collaborative leader with a solid background in student learning, school finance, and community engagement.
Salary and Contract Information:
The district will offer a competitive wage and benefit package (base salary range $150,000 to $165,000) that reflects the experience and education of the candidate chosen as the next Superintendent.
