Qualifications:
- Candidate must hold an approved State of Michigan secondary teaching certificate with a DX, DI,DE or DP with an additional endorsement preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related fields
- Provide high quality instruction that supports and aligns to the district’s educational vision and mission.
- Facilitate an environment that fosters the learning of all students.
- Remain knowledgeable of educational standards and strategies to meet the academic, developmental and social emotional needs of students.
- Assess and modify instructional practice leading toward increased student achievement.
- Utilize educational technology to support student’s instruction and learning.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students, peers, parents and community.

Terms of Employment:
School year as defined in the written agreement between the New Haven Board of Education and the New Haven Education Association.

EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the policy of the Board of Education and Administrative Guidelines.
