Seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in manufacturing engineering to lead our engineering team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of Engineers in the completion of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in manufacturing processes, project management, and team leadership. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence and ensuring the efficient production of higher-quality products.
Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, ensuring effective training, performance management, and professional development.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to optimize manufacturing operations and ensure equipment reliability.
- Address and resolve manufacturing issues, including troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and process inefficiencies.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, environmental, and industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with other departments which includes Quality Assurance, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Utilize data to drive decisions and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned
