Responsibilities
Assist the marketing team in developing and executing strategies for various programs and sponsorships, contributing new ideas and insights.
Support the creation of marketing materials, including copywriting, editing, and designing digital and print content.
Help with photography, design, and image selection to ensure that all materials align with the Michigan First brand and its subsidiaries.
Stay informed about industry trends, member demographics, products, and services to communicate effectively with both members and non-members.
Support the management of marketing collateral and promotional product inventory, working with vendors and processing invoices as needed.
Contribute to community engagement efforts, creating promotional content and assisting with charitable initiatives.
Perform administrative tasks, such as tracking marketing metrics, organizing meetings, and assisting in event coordination.
Take on other duties and projects as assigned to support the overall marketing function and team.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience working in marketing through internships or prior positions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, website content management, Adobe creative Suite, Google analytics and various social media platforms
Strong desire to learn and grow within the marketing field.
A humble, positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively and take direction.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to contribute ideas and assist with project execution.
A flexible, team-first mentality and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
