About the Opportunity
The Business Solutions Manager serves as an advisor to develop and maintain client relationships. This role generates client engagements ranging from business growth, technology implementation, and productivity improvement to organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue and generate new sales leads independently and develop/maintain client/partner relationships.
- Interact with clients to understand their business requirements.
- Develop client proposals and supporting documentation.
- Responsible for contract confirmation, project kick-off, and coordination.
- Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Promote attendance at MMTC events and actively participate.
- Manage NIST survey completion and monitor client impacts.
- Understand the voice of the customer to support product development activities.
- Partner with marketing to compose/send event promotion communications.
About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical/business-related field preferred (or equivalent certification/experience).
- Business development experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Able to pursue/close new business opportunities.
- Capable of interacting with C-level executives in manufacturing.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Able to learn/understand/promote MMTC product offerings.
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills.
- Able to use Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience selling engineering/manufacturing-related consulting services to manufacturers.
