Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated licensed occupational therapist (OT) to join our compassionate team. This full-time role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping children achieve their developmental milestones and improve their quality of life. The role involves working Tuesday-Friday from 8:30am to 7pm. Competitive benefits available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Interventions: Address clients’ performance aspects to support engagement in daily occupations that positively impact their health, well-being, and quality of life.
  • Tailored Treatment Plans: Select and adapt appropriate occupational therapy treatment models, methods, and approaches based on individual client needs to direct the intervention process effectively.
  • Safety & Performance: Implement interventions aimed at enhancing safety and performance, particularly in neuromuscular and picky feeding skills.
  • Skill Development: Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into manageable components.
  • Sensory & Developmental Assessment: Evaluate sensory skills and levels of development to create effective therapy plans.
  • Feeding Techniques: Apply specialized techniques for children experiencing feeding difficulties, including infants with feeding challenges.
  • Family & Caregiver Education: Provide guidance and education to family members and caregivers to support therapy goals and enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Progress Monitoring: Observe, document, and report on the progress toward long- and short-term treatment goals, ensuring continuous improvement in client outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as an occupational therapist (OT)
  • Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly in feeding and sensory integration
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a positive impact in children’s lives
