Starting hourly pay $20 plus, depending on certifications, pay is hourly not flatrate
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to maintain MRS fleet with continuous inspections keeping fleet on maintenance schedule.

This position is required to be in all weather conditions, standing, walking and repetitive movements and use of mechanical controls, such as tools or machines, are frequently required.

Duties And Responsibilities
The following list of primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Promote MRS vision and Mission
- Maintain Fleet Maintenance
- Work with other Michigan Recovery Services mechanics to complete
- Inspect each fleet unit for any additional issues other than normal maintenance and discuss with Head Mechanic.
- Shop Area
- Area is to remain organized and floor is free of items not being used.
- Hoses, tools and other items are too be put away each night.
- Inventory maintenance supplies, (filters, hoses, brake supplies etc.) are to be
- Complete mechanical condition reports of auction unit
- Check fluids, change battery if needed fill/change tires if applicable per Client authorization.
- Complete Mechanical condition report (test drive) and list all known mechanical issues.
- Notify Head Mechanic of any check engine lights on units.
- Discuss with Head Mechanic regarding any repairs the client may want to consider having completed.
- If repairs are approved, perform repairs.
- Meet and exceed company goals.
Qualifications include:
- Must have own basic mechanic tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Effective communications skills required.
- Problemsolving and organizational skills
- Ability to remain focused and composed during fastpaced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable.
- Certified Mechanic License (Diesel Certified), preferred but not required.
